What happens to the details you give us, in plain words.
Who we are

What we collect
When you ask for a quote through this website, we collect what you put in the form:
- your name
- your phone number and email address
- the property’s address and suburb
- the service you’re after, and anything else you tell us in your message.
We also keep what you tell us when you call, text or email us, and the details of any work we quote for or do, including before and after photos of the job.
Why we collect it
To reply to your enquiry, look at your property and prepare a quote, book and do the work, send you the photos and the invoice, and keep the business records we need. We won’t use it for anything else without asking you first, and we never sell it.
Where it goes
The quote form sends your details straight into our job app, the system we use to keep track of enquiries, quotes and jobs. It runs on Cloudflare. Our email runs on Google Workspace. These services may store information on servers outside New Zealand, and they look after it under their own security and privacy terms.
The people who can see your details are us, and the people who help us run the business, such as Alpine Studio, who built and look after this website and our job app. We only share your details with others where it’s needed to do your job, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we need them to quote, do and follow up the work, and to keep the business records the law asks of us (for example, tax records are kept for seven years). After that we delete them.
Visits to this website
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which tells us how many people visit and which pages they read. It doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t identify you. This website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure: the form sends it over an encrypted connection, and our job app is only open to us.
Seeing or correcting your details
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Get in touch using the details above. If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your information, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
